Various things in a week

A friend gave my mother two hamsters. Hamsters + cats in a home = not a good pet combination.

Received phonecall from leader of East Java Lupus Association. She knew that I moved to Jakarta, but asked me anyway to support a recently found Lupus patient with the same case like me (lost sight, but in this patient case, it happens to both of her eyes). Both of the patient and me are on the same age. I said okay. The patient called minutes later. When father intterrupted our talk to ask for help in setting out my PC, mother continued the discussion to share her experiences when she supported me during my first Lupus attack. Turned out, that the patient is my mother's long lost friend from a baking-lover community. That fact made things better =)

Note to remind self : Lupus meeting to be held on May 6 in Jakarta. Have to remind mother for the same meeting on April 23 in Surabaya.

Found a blog that has connection with a friend I miss dearly. I bought a nice card just to say 'Hi!' to her today, hope I could send it this week.

Arrived safely in Jakarta yesterday. When I was ready to go to work this morning, workmate phoned, "You have SQL training for three days, starting this morning 9.00 AM in Roxy. See you there~!". I'm not familiar with Roxy area, plus only 45 minutes left to reach there. Kakangmas then gave info that Roxy is only minutes away from Harmoni. Glad I know that I can reach Harmoni with Busway, after my adventure getting on busway with [info]nanai and K-chan last month. In order not to get stuck in Jakarta's super heavy traffic jam, I took "ojek" to nearest Busway, took Corridor I BlokM - Kota Busway, got off in Sawah Besar (Harmoni station still under construction), then rode another "ojek". Thank God I arrived there on time. (^^ v

Received many text messages from office during my vacation last week and today, regarding my job to provide Production Reports for some divisions. Ack. All of workmates from the same division are really busy with their works, I know that no one can handle my job with workload like that, hope staffs from other divisions won't harass me for giving the reports so late =3.
But I'm on vacation last week, and training until the day after tomorrow, who cares?! =P

Was it you [info]nekoyuki? or [info]ivles? that recommended "Accidental Office Lady" book to me? I finished reading it today. There are points where I disagree with her. Like, I'm not agree on her point in abolishing women's uniform = equality between men and women, since equality in workplace = to give a right job to suitable and qualified staff, regardless of gender, in my opinion. I can understand why the Japanese acted things she hated, and at some points also feel agravated with what the author done when negotiating with her workmates. But the book is still entertaining anyway =)

Next book to read : translated Abe Kobo's The Woman in the Dunes
Bought these two books on a whim, around 30,000 rupiahs (3.2 dollars) each, really cheap! (^^v

Things I should do the next two months
- Visit my family more often. I thought I can return home once in six months, but the longer the intervals, things at home become worser.
- My English and Japanese are getting down, ability to grasp programming language is getting up. Should study all of them more seriously. I'm trying to take a test for a language course this May. The test is only held once a year. Wish me luck? (^^;;;;
- Mapping all busway stations from Corridor I, II, and III soon. Adventure, here I come! >:D I like the feeling of able to conquer things unknown to me.
- I forgot that there are long holidays this April. Bogorians, do you have anything to do?

OOh I read Abe kobo's "Suna no onna"^O^
Actually....I found it quite angsty at the beginning^O^ then I stopped and asked my friend to spoil me the end it for me because there was no way I would have continued to read it if I didn't know the ending^^;;
In the end I finished it, well..I must say I'll never watch the sand with the same eyes again^^;;

Don't spoil meeeee~! >:3

I don't expect this story to have a happy ending, like, the man finally able to return to his home and continued his life. Kind of boring reading happy ending like that =P

Happy cats = stressed hamsters + stressed mom & brother XD

About the package, I haven't paid you for the previous goods, right? They cost the same. So we're even =)

And if you don't mind, when you really have time, would you please rip the three additional DVDs (those without cover) and put it for panigumi? I lost the additional copy for other fan when I was going to send them. Onegaishimasu m(_ _)m

Aku baru tau Sanji-san pasien Lupus, betapa ngga perhatiannya aku mengingat kita uda berteman lebih dari 5 tahun >.<
Sekarang dah sembuh atau masih dalam perawatan?

Itu kejadiannya waktu baru kenalan kok. Daku juga nggak terlalu banyak ngeluhin masalah itu, takut orang tua kepikiran kalau sampai dengar =)

Sekarang sih dalam periode non-aktif, musti jaga makan (jauhin asam urat, jauhin kolesterol) sama jaga kondisi badan biar nggak terlalu stress atau kecapekan. Tapi susah juga, di kantor masih sering pulang malam, trus tiap kali lewat depot sate kambing atau soto, bawaannya ngiler =P

wah Sanji-san tabah ya, kagum ni. Aku ngga gitu tau soal penyakit Lupus (bego soal penyakit2), yang pasti semoga bisa sembuh deh. Kita bisa gatheringan terus sampe nenek-nenek ntar. hehe...
Iyalah... Jkt pasti lbh berat khan kerjaannya, blom lagi stress krn godaan mo mampir kino ^^; Soal ngiler si... usahain jangan lewat depotnya kali ya, ngerti banget kalo dah menyangkut mulut & perut ni emang susah dikontrol XD

Busway map? Sure! Once you know which road they pass, it's easy to reach most part of Jakarta in less than 30 minutes! =D

Kalideres? Udah dong =) Asal nggak keluar dari area dalam terminal busway, bisa pindah ke koridor lain via terminal Monas

Kata temen, udah ada yang bikin map busway di net, tapi daku belum sempat browsing buat cari =3

Definitely not me *nods and points to ephie's reply*

BTW aku ga tahu kalo sanji punya sakit lupus T_T Kalo dipikir2, walaupun kita sudah kenal begitu lama, kita semua tidak benar2 saling "kenal" ya? Hmmm... It reminds me that I'm gonna attend the LUPUS seminar in April 23rd. Di unair bukan? O_o;;

[info]pikun

April 6 2006, 06:21:03 UTC 6 years ago
